Meridian's Acquisition

Lyrics

Dawn upon the city breaks
Swords lowered in reverence
A despot lies still, slain
The thirst of consequence
Crimson banners hang no more
Scarcity's transocean
Drought of mercy submerged
Meridian's acquisition

Aristocracy returns
Fought with power and might
But will the lost King and the heir
Join the conflict to usurp and smite?

Distinction's tyranny
Wield swords to coerce
One autocrat deposed
Another arises, accursed

Dreaming adversary wakes
Swords raised to the attack
New oppressor of Meridian
Now face the lost King in black
Crimson banners hang no more
Scarcity's transocean
Drought of mercy submerged
Meridian's acquisition
