Floating (To Hell)

Cursed to float on a river to hell
Filled with fluids a nuclear smell of toxic waste
That seeps out and escapes from the clay

I see and smell the rotting of souls
Floating to hell
A decomposed smell is what lies below
Floating to hell

Bodies breaking down

High rates of birth defects so unreal
Floating to hell
Family pets with burns that never heal
Floating to hell

Bodies breaking down
Breeding chemical existence

Originally meant to be a dream community
Hydro-electric power fuels the industry
One mile was dug the investors withdrew
The canal became a dump site of toxic refuse

CHORUS
White blood cells rise
Trees and gardens die
Cancer will arise

Ground lined with clay to prevent an escape
A population boom forced to reshape
Building schools & houses breaching the canal walls
The gluttony of men a monstrosity crawls

CHORUS

Cursed to float on a river to hell
Filled with fluids a nuclear smell of toxic waste
That seeps out and escapes from the clay

Floating to hell
